Breaking Barriers Through Baseball: The Alternative Baseball Story

Weekly meeting6:30 PMThe Forks Cafeteria
The Rotary Club of Wake Forest is excited to welcome Taylor Duncan, Founder and CEO of Alternative Baseball Organization, a nonprofit dedicated to providing authentic baseball experiences for teens and adults ages 15 and older with autism and other special needs. As a young man on the autism spectrum, Taylor experienced firsthand the challenges of finding opportunities to participate in traditional sports. Determined to break down those barriers, he founded Alternative Baseball in 2016, creating an inclusive environment where players can develop skills, build confidence, form friendships, and experience the excitement of competitive baseball. Today, his organization is expanding into communities across the United States, demonstrating how sports can transform lives. Join us as Taylor shares his inspiring journey and how Alternative Baseball is creating opportunities, challenging perceptions, and making a lasting impact both on and off the field.
