Forest Resener of Stove Teams International presented an interactive video, “The Killer You Probably Don’t Know Exists”. Open fire cooking does more health damage to three billion families who use them than smoking four packs of cigarettes per day. In addition, they cause many environmental damages. There is a simple solution, the cookstove developed by the Stove Team. The whole story is shown on their website: The video is also available to watch:

Most of the folks involved in this organization are Rotarians and many Rotary Clubs have used them to do projects in underdeveloped countries. 


The club social next week will be at Wine 101, 1228 Heritage Links Drive. We will start at 6:30 PM and the club will provide pizza everyone will buy their own drinks. It is a spouse event to honor Rachel and Zeke’s wedding.

Brad announced that there will be training on how to use the new Zoom Room. The training will take place at The Forks on Wednesday 5/19 and Wed 5/26 at 11:30 am. We need several of our members to know how to run the system so Brad will have a backup when he cannot be at the meeting.

Louis Mullinger won the raffle this week, but the nine of diamonds didn’t win the pot. The pot keeps growing.
